So I recently heard a quote that, at the time, didn't strike me one way or the other.
It goes "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans."
However, I've concocted a plan and thought I was on my way, until I was stopped in my tracks by reality. I was reminded about this quote and the fact that God is ultimately in control. Like it or not, we are just moving around here under His guidance, leadership, and love.
In the grand scheme of things, I find it reassuring that there is a Higher Power, that He loves me, and that things will all work out according to His plan. I need to keep this in mind when things don't go "my" way.
